Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier with 2–3 years of experience to handle daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and provide excellent customer service. The Cashier will be responsible for processing payments, managing cash balances, supporting sales operations, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and process customer payments through cash, card, mobile payment, and other approved payment methods.

Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations accurately.

Maintain accurate records of daily sales and cash transactions.

Perform daily cash counting, reconciliation, and submit cash reports to management.

Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation.

Verify transaction details and ensure accuracy before completing payments.

Assist customers with payment-related inquiries and provide professional customer service.

Maintain confidentiality of financial information and follow company cash handling procedures.

Support end-of-day closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and reporting.

Monitor and report any discrepancies, shortages, or irregularities in cash transactions.

Maintain an organized and clean cashier station.

Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Educational Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Work Experience

2–3 years of relevant cashier, cash handling, or customer service experience.

Experience with POS systems, accounting software, or payment processing systems is an advantage.

ERP system knowledge is advantageous

Required Skills and Competencies

Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Good cash handling and record-keeping skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work with honesty, integrity, and accountability.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions efficiently.

Good problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
